Where you have submitted an application for funding, to carry out credit checks against the business, its shareholders and officers to assess the financial suitability of any potential investment. When undertaking credit checks, we may pass your information to third party credit reference agencies to enable them to conduct the credit checks. The agencies will record details of any search whether or not your application succeeds. This information may be used by other subscribers for credit decisions. We may use credit scoring methods to assess your application and to verify the identity of you or any other party for whom you provide details.
