    • usage, viewing and technical data, including your IP address when you visit the Site.

    Where you are submitting Information about other people, please make sure you have their consent to do so.

  3. How we use your information and with whom we share your information

    We use your Information for any or all of the following purposes.

    • To consider any application for funding which is submitted by you using the Site. When considering your application, we will share your information with the members of Firestartr LLP, potential investors, and our professional advisers.

    • To contact you and the parties identified in the application to progress the application for funding.

    • Where you have submitted an application for funding, to carry out credit checks against the business, its shareholders and officers to assess the financial suitability of any potential investment. When undertaking credit checks, we may pass your information to third party credit reference agencies to enable them to conduct the credit checks. The agencies will record details of any search whether or not your application succeeds. This information may be used by other subscribers for credit decisions. We may use credit scoring methods to assess your application and to verify the identity of you or any other party for whom you provide details. Please contact us (as described below) if you would like details of those credit reference agencies from whom we obtain and to whom we pass information about you.

    • To undertake fraud prevention checks, such as confirming identities and addresses using the electoral register and applicable business registers. We may engage third parties to conduct such checks on our behalf and share your information to enable them to conduct these and similar checks.

    • To generate statistics relating to applications made via the Site. Aggregated and anonymised data which results from such analysis may shared with third parties.

    • To track website usage of the Site and in order to help us improve Site and services and for research and analysis purposes. Aggregated and anonymised data which results from such analysis may be shared with third parties.
